ASOS Beauty Calendar 2016 - reveal

Happy 2017!

I know we’re in 2017 but, I thought I would kick off the month by rounding up all the products I received in my ASOS Beauty Calendar last year – I was sharing a lot of the pictures over on my Twitter and Instagram, but it was such a lovely calendar to have that I had to share it on my blog. I will have to make a mental note to myself to share this in November this year but until then, here are my thoughts about the calendar and a full list of everything I received.

Party season outfit ideas

I have not blogged in forever! It's a combination of not having anything to blog about and not having the time to blog. My workplace has announced the date of the Christmas party and it has sent me into panic mode! First of all it makes me realise I need to stop inhaling all sorts of crap, but second reason for my panic is finding something to wear! So I’ve been doing some searching here and there but really most of these I have discovered because they’ve landed in my inbox from certain brands. I’m mainly looking for a dress because I find them easier to work with, but I have found some cute tops/bottoms.

ASOS is my favourite place to shop online and even though I know I need to branch away and shop on other stores I can't help but still add things to my save for later basket. With pay day being a couple of days away I thought I would show some of the things I plan to pick up!

recent purchases

I purchased this off ASOS about two weeks ago, I thought I was going to love it as it was sequined but it wasn't what I expected, plus it was really itchy! So I sent it back. So I'm going to have to find my self a plain black bandeau top or something.

I love this dress, I bought it for my friends birthday, which I can't go to as I'm working. Gutted but I know I'll have another chance to wear it. I love the cut out and well it's a red dress, I never seem to pick any colourful going out dresses, so this is new.

I can't wait until Friday, my friend some how bagged tickets free tickets to HardRock Calling and she's taking me to make up for missing my birthday, which is amazing because The Killers are headling! I'm so excited, I'm gonna feel like I'm 15 years old again. Also the Kaiser Chiefs are playing, so once again hello to my 15 year old self. So excited to be in a gig atmosphere as once again I'm not heading to a festival this year. I am working some though, which isn't ever really the same but I actually prefer it that way!

Having no money has certainly made my shopping ban easier but ASOS hasn't with their e-mails. I'm in love!

I'm off to work at sonisphere today so I won't be back until Monday!
