holiday photos part 3!

13 August 2012

I'm jealous of my own holiday pictures! I wish I was back there and not giving a fuck about anything because there are way too many thoughts running through my mind at the moment. When all I need is relaxation and love!

Anyway photos - there are so many though and spamming my blog with them is getting boooooooooooring, so I think I have one more coming up and then I'm done.

I love the pictures of the sea! So gorgeous and it was just as gorgeous in real life, so blue and brilliant

Holiday pictures continued!

12 August 2012

Yep I'm still plugging my holiday pictures!! Needless to say, I'm really wanting another holiday!! This must have been the third day or so, we went to a water park :)

Beer Glasses!! I picked these up at Primark and they will never be used again, but they were cute!

Tequila Glasses!

See how the waterpark is behind me?! Our Sat Nav got us lost and it wasn't until I spotted the park below us that I was like, urmm the Sat Nav has lost it! Anyway, decided we'd jump out and take some pictures

Odd feeling... wasn't anything special though so I won't be doing this again!

Henna :)

Hopefully the next set won't be so long!

I bought this nail varnish for a bargain of £1.50 at Kiko Milano in.Westfield. I have never heard of it, but when I saw the £1.50 sign I couldn't resist going in. this was the only thing I got from there even if I did chip the next day! But for £1.50 I am not complaining!

Pretty Pretty Pretty

9 August 2012

I know, I know. Neglect :(
But moooooooving on very quickly, my nails have grown! I don't know if it's the mental power of not biting my nails or the Sally Hansen nail growth, but my nails have grown and they are not breaking. So result! And as promised to myself, if they grew then I could invest in OPI/Essie/whatever-brand-wants-to-place-a-high-price-tag-on-their-nail-varnish.

Lately I've found my self obsessed with The Sunday Girl and I read a lot of her reviews, even for products I just wouldn't use. Anyway she did place a link for an Ebay seller that had a huge range of nail varnishes and they are cheaper (some not so much but still a saving). It's an American seller and well here you go, go visit for yourself and fall in love with nail varnishes and the price! Even with postage it's cheaper than buying a whole bottle here. Postage is also you will get combined postage if you buy more than one. Anyway, I cannot wait for mine to arrive, but I'll show you what I got!
Essie - Set in Stone - £4.46 (not including postage)

China Glaze - Under the Boardwalk - £2.87 (not including postage)

OPI - Miami Beet - £3.99 (not including postage)

So yay, I'm excited for these to come. I shall expect Essie Set in Stone to be an absolute bitch to get off, but I think I might just fall in love with it. But we won't know until it comes.

I caved!

27 July 2012

Payday can only mean spending money! I finally have got my hands on the Liz Earle skin care. My skin is oily and riddled with acne scars. So first and foremost I want to combat the oiliness. My second purchase is for reducing the scars.

So I ran off the the Liz Earle website to check out the range and it turns out there is an August deal - meaning I get what I was going to purchase, for a cheaper price WITH a gift. It's a foundation, now I'm not sure it will be my colour but my work mate said it was good, so it's worth a shot. Although my trusty MAC serves me well. As I recommended one of the girls I work with, she gets a free something, which she volunteered to split with me. Niceeeeeeee. So this is what I got:
£41.00. You get:
100ml Cleanse and Polish (with two Muslin clothes)
200ml Skin Tonic
50ml Skin Repair Moisturiser
Free Sheer Skin Tint

I usually wouldn't invest this much in anything but if it warrants then I will. But I am waaay tired of hating my skin, so I can spend a little more because the only other thing it would go on is food.

Next thing I purchased was the Dr Manuka APInourish Skin Repair Cream. I already have the blemish cream by them and I was surprised at how well it worked. I read reviews about the Skin Repair's magic and decided to banish my scars away (even if it means emptying my pockets)!

I also got this. It retails at £24.99 from Holland & Barretts, but I went searching on Ebay (I'm a cheaparse remember) and got it for £17.50
I also gave £1 to the Amy Winehouse Foundation because Ebay prompted me and I adore her. So there's my good deed for life. I kid.

Anyway all the stuff is rammed with Vitamin E, which is excellent for skin - keeps it moisturised and helps fade scars. So those are my cheeky purchases, but if it's in the name of clear(er) skin, then I think it's justified. The new lipstick and high tops I'm craving however....
