Although I’ve searched for phone cases during the year, I thought with it being gift giving season I would share some of the beautiful and cool (i.e Harry Potter related) phone cases I have found. I think phone cases are a really nice way to show your style or personality and sometimes they can just be so refreshing and inspiring to look at. Mine currently is a PU leather case with a dream catcher, it has such lovely calming colours on it and really just makes me smile when I look at it. I have a Samsung S6 Edge, so it was one of the things I had in mind when I went hunting for phone cases, as a result all of the cases are available for iPhones and some Samsung phones!
Skincare hero - The Body Shop Vitamin C Energising Face Mist
29 September 2016 • review, skincare, skincare hero, the body shop
If there’s one thing I’m always searching for in a skincare product, it is the ability to inject some life into my skin. I want all the brightness because I just feel like my skin is dull and lacklustre. To tackle this issue, I decided to pick up The Body Shop’s Vitamin C Energising Face Mist.
Sephora wishlist
26 August 2016 • make-up, sephora, wish list
It kinda feels like yesterday when I did my American wishlist and now I'm back with another! I'm off to Europe for 13 days next week and I will be visiting 4 different cities. I also plan to hit up Sephora wherever I can and I have a few things that I have actually been lusting after. Fingers crossed they have them as I'm not sure how wide the selection is in Europe. I'll hopefully be visiting other drug stores whilst I'm there to pick up other brands.
Bedroom inspiration - bohemian themes
16 July 2016 • bedroom interior
I love Pinterest for all the wonderful ideas it can give you for just about anything. Although I'm not largely fussed about interiors I do have a whole Pinterest board dedicated to the ones I come across because they can always be saved for future use. The one thing I have found myself gravitating towards recently is bedroom interior, particularly those with a bohemian theme. The colours and the patterns are just so warm and inviting to me, I've always been admirer of these things but it's something that never translated through to my personal style or living area because I just prefer to keep things simple. However after looking at loads these designs, I've decided it's time for a little rehaul. I'm starting small though and just starting with my bedding, in all of the ones I've come across it's the bed area that's always got me. It makes jumping into bed much more inviting!
My NYC trip
30 May 2016
So I wanted to share a few snaps that showed my trip to New York. I've decided not to do a rundown of what we did on different days (I'm sure are things that I shouldn't even mention) but I will split the pictures by location/activity. I absolutely loved New York and I felt so fortunate to be able to celebrate my birthday there with some wonderful friends - I seriously cannot wait to go back! There was so much that I didn't do so another trip will have to be on the cards!
So that's my trip - 5 epic days of no sleep, loads of walking and feeling really blessed.
My birthday!
Times Square
Empire State Building
American Museum of Natural History
I spent the morning of my birthday here - I felt like a little kid but I absolutely loved the place.
Brooklyn
Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty
The ones that don't fit in anywhere else
This had me and my friend in stiches
On our first night we stumbled across this place called The Blind Barber
View from the hotel room opposite the memorial centre
Last drink in New York at The Rum House
Yankee Stadium
5 things I'm grateful for
2 May 2016 • 25th birthday, learning curve
So in 4 days time I'll be 25! I'm only excited about this because I'll be celebrating it in New York, a city I've always wanted to visit. I'm not really quite sure why, considering I think London is too crowed but it's something I wanted to knock off my bucket list. I'm so happy that I'm excited for this trip and my birthday because that was exactly my intention when I decided I want to be away for my birthday. I didn't want to dread it, and now I'm really not - I'm looking forward to a magical day and night with some great friends.
Turning a quarter of a century old isn't a huge deal, but it kind of is so it brings some thoughts with it and I just thought I'd note them down to look back on. Tbh when I was 13 with suicidal thoughts running through my veins I didn't ever think I'd reach 25, so honestly for me to be excited about it is a real 360 for me. I feel like I've grown, but at the same time still the same. I mean currently my hair is a brassy blonde and I don't even know if I'll have the time to fix it before I fly...

American wish list
24 April 2016 • shopping, wish list
I have less than two weeks until I'll be touching American soil (this also means in less than two weeks I'll be 25). There are so many things that I cannot wait to do in America and I can bet you the first thing I'll do is just run around screaming "I'm in America" but after all that has worn down, I shall be hitting the shops. Oh man, I'm excited for the food and ofc the make-up shopping. Most of the people I watch on YouTube are American, so I get to see a lot of great releases that never ever make it to this side of the pond. Therefore, I have a budding list and when I get to America I intend to spend to my hearts content. I have so much on my list and the below is not the complete list but just thought I'd share.
New in March
31 March 2016 • hair talk, hair tools, hauls, make-up, new in
I have been wanting to get this post out forever, but my laptop was just NOT co-operating. I had already written the post, but could not for the life of me upload my photos, but finally it's here and just in time for the end of March!
I have been shopping so much this month and I don't even know why. Considering I finished my job at the end of Feb, and didn't get a new one until literally just the beginning of March (hurrah for me), I have no idea why I thought it would be a good idea to spend money. I think I was just feeling the freedom too much, nevertheless I managed to pick up some make-up items, clothes and jewellery. Some bits are repurchases (like my beloved Smashbox Halo foundation) so I haven't included them because they are new y'know?

TV Show - Love (2016)
7 March 2016 • Love, tv series
It's not often that a new TV show comes along and steals my heart. I'm very faithful to my old TV shows like Criminal Minds and Elementary, recently it has been How to Get Away with Murder (it's bloody brilliant). But a little gem has worked it's way into my heart and brain and I just had to share it with you all!
Nails on Pinterest
18 February 2016 • nails
I have a huge obsession with nails, well more like other people's nails because I can never be bothered to do my nails. I love the idea of nail varnish and have loads of them but I'm forever too lazy to apply them, when I do apply them and they start to chip I then become far too lazy to take them off. When I do take them off, I'm then too lazy to apply then and so goes the cycle. In the past six months I've alternated between using falsies from Primark and nail varnish and it's been great, but I still haven't been regularly with attention to my nails. If anything my move into falsies have just resulted in my acquiring more nail products that will take me ages to use.

New in Janaury
16 January 2016 • hauls, make-up, skin talk, skincare
So I thought I’d kick of my first post in January with a mini haul! Although it is the middle of Jan, I don’t think I’ll be buying any more stuff because I can barely afford to feed myself! So I thought now would be the perfect time to do my ‘new in,’ which is just a couple of new things that I have purchased this month.
