Last month I celebrated my 26th birthday in Dublin. Dublin is one of my favourite cities - Irish people are so friendly and the Temple Bar area is just great for talking to random people (Irish and not) and having a lovely time. Having been there before, I have seen most of the sites Dublin has to offer, but I did make a trip to Kilmainham Gaol (on my birthday of all days) and pictures of that will be up in my next post.
I had such a lovely birthday, although the day did start out very rocky (my phone nearly got nicked amongst other things), it ended with a fantastic dinner and night in Temple Bar. I spent my time wandering around the pier and seeing the different bridges, having great coffee at a place called The Drunken Monkey (order a dirty chai with coconut milk, you won't regret it), going on a Literary Pub Crawl and mooching about the central parts of Dublin)

We landed about lunch time and dropped our bags and headed for a walk down this little pier to see the bridges and have a stroll |

I know a park is a park but it was great to visit this one finally. I found it so serene and it was sunny too! |
Thank you Dublin! You were lovely, although I did nearly get my phone nicked, it won’t stop me from coming back! I definitely encourage everyone to visit Dublin, everyone is so nice and you always end up with fantastic cab drivers. I'm going to Nice at the end of this month, so if you have any tips/must see - holla!
