So instead of having this post up during the week, I decided to stick to my usual Monday posting because I just did not have time during the week to get these all up! Today I'm sharing my day 3 in Nice. It's so lovely to look back over these photos because I can safely say this was the best holiday ever! The sea was so blue (and cold), the weather was beautiful, I was in great company and I ate amazing food! Day 3 features breakfast in the Airbnb garden, walking along the promenade and going to Castle Hill. We did this all in the afternoon after a lazy morning. The views from Castle Hill are so so beautiful, scroll down for the beautiful pictures!
Off to the supermarket for a food shop!
Breakfast set up! I had crepes and strawberries and it was so good! This cheese btw is the most delicious and creamy cheese I have ever had!
We wandered through the Old Town for a bit, I find no matter how many times you walk through here it's still really beautiful.
Fail
Look at this water!! So beautiful
I tried blogger life and failed but I actually like these shots haha.
Monument aux morts de Rauba-Capeù - a memorial honouring Nice citizens that were killed during WWI
We went up into Castle Hill to find these stunning views
Our evening ended with dinner at Chez Juliette where I had the nicest 3-course meal - it was the best meal of my holiday!
After dinner we wandered into the main part of Nice, saw some street performers and took some pictures before heading home.
Watching a magic show across the road
Our starters. French onion soup and my meal, I can't remember the exact name but it was cheese, tomato and mozzarella on some bread - easily the best thing I hate my whole time in Nice.
After dinner we wandered into the main part of Nice, saw some street performers and took some pictures before heading home.
We ended up in a bar called Wayne's due to my friends recommendation and I can safely say it is not my kind of place haha! It was interesting to be in there as it felt like I was back at uni rather than in Nice.
We headed back to our little apartment for wine in the garden and just spent time drinking, taking pictures and making good memories!
So this was my third day in Nice, my next post will be the next day (which features less pictures I promise). I had such a lovely day this day - the weather was fantastic and taking in the stunning sites and eating good food just topped it all off.
